Another wine tasting took place in Tsinandali

A few days ago, another wine tasting was held in Tsinandali. The purpose of the tasting was to select wines for export to Hungary. The sommeliers tasted a fairly wide range of our wines and gave the majority of them the highest scores. They focused on wines that best demonstrated the authenticity of Georgian winemaking and emphasized the varietal uniqueness of the vine. Accordingly, several amber-colored qvevri wines and saperavi without oak aging were selected for export. They were also impressed by the wines of different harvests aged in oak barrels.

An interesting fact was recalled by one of them (Petzold Attila). As it turned out, he first tasted our wines in 2012 in Germany, at a wine tasting. Nevertheless, he noted that he discovered winemaking Mildiani today. He emphasized that winemaking has grown and developed significantly during this time, which is reflected in the new wines.
