What makes Mukuzani Vardiashvili distinguished:

Our Saperavi vineyard is located in the Mukuzni micro-zone. This terroir is distinguished by a relatively high PH soil and a wealth of minerals necessary for the Saperavi vines. That is why Saperavi grapes grown here are distinguished by their high quality and unique tastes.

Wine is produced naturally. No chemicals are used in the production process. In addition, the grapes are fermented on natural yeast, which preserves the wine’s unique aromas and character.

This wine represents a good example of friendship between French and Georgian winemaking technologies. The Saperavi grapes are fermented in Qvevri, the traditional way, but the wine is then aged in French oak barrels. Oak barrels soften the wine and add pleasant, velvety aromas of vanilla and black chocolate.

Vanilla and chocolate aromas from French oak barrels combined with varietal blackberry flavours and soft tannins create a full-bodied red wine perfectly suitable for variety of fried meet, steak, grilled salmon, etc.
