What makes Rkatsiteli Vardiashvili distinguished:

80-year-old vineyard in the centre of the Vazisubani micro-zone. Unique Rkatsiteli grapes are grown in this specific vineyard because of three main reasons:

1) Vazisubani micro-zone is characterized by the special soil, that allows the Rkatsiteli vines to reveal the maximum of its potential and to produce the Rkatsiteli grapes with intensive structure and complex aromas.

2) In this vineyard, grapes are grown naturally without use of harmful chemicals

3) As vines are old, the roots are went deep into the soil, which allows vines to maximally absorb diverse minerals. On the other hand, old vines produce a lower quantity of grapes, therefore, the quality of the grapes is very high.

Wine is produced naturally. No chemicals are used in the production process. In addition, the grapes are fermented on natural yeast, which preserves the wine’s unique aromas and character.

The wine is full-bodied and features aromas of dried fruit, caramel, rose jam and other soft, lingering flavours.
